About the Founder - Graham Lee

The author of the FC Products, and the founder of Formula Calculator Pty Ltd, Graham Lee, has had a life-long career in Information Technology as a business owner, consultant, project manager, architect, educator and software developer.

After leaving university with a first-class degree and a masters in Mathematics, Graham joined a computer manufacturer in the UK, became a university lecturer, and ran his own consulting, contracting and training businesses.

He has worked for many organisations in commerce, industry, telecommunications, government and education, including international organisations such as IBM.

Founder's Career Achievements

Graham’s achievements include:

  • Doing the 4-day trek on the Inca Trail from the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu in Peru
  • Implementing the Formula Calculator concept for his own use, because he found traditional, button-operated calculators too limiting, and then converting it into a commercial-quality product
  • Successfully completing very challenging projects for several high-profile clients
  • Keeping up with information-technology trends and software-development methods over a long career
  • Writing a textbook, called From Hardware to Software: an Introduction to Computers, that is quoted in the Oxford English Dictionary under Virtual Memory
  • Teaching thousands of people how to use computers.
